We do not currently have a preference to group meetings, which is a technique to avoid having gaps in your schedule. However, there are some work-arounds to better-cluster your meetings.
Set up Meeting Templates
You can create a Meeting Template for meetings you do regularly, and you can limit the times of day that meeting can be scheduled.
For example: In my 1:1 Meeting Template, I've set the available hours as 1-3 p.m. on weekdays. This guarantees that all of my 1:1 meetings will happen in that time frame.
I can then share a calendar page of that Meeting Template to let them choose a time, or I can "trigger" that meeting in an email to Scheduler, Amy or Andrew with a slash command:
Andrew, please book a /1-1 with Dan next week.
Customize your Scheduling Hours
You can customize your Scheduling Hours in your Ad hoc meeting preferences to limit your meeting availability on certain days. Feel free to get as granular as you want here!
You can also cue Scheduler, Amy, and Andrew when you send in meeting requests to let them know if they need to be scheduled during a certain time period like this
"Amy, please set this up between 2 and 4 on a Thursday"
“Andrew, please find us a time on Wednesday afternoon for a video conference”
“Scheduler, schedule a call tomorrow at either 1pm or 2:30pm”
They will then prioritize scheduling that meeting in the specified block of time. You should also make sure you’ve set the "breather time" between meetings at 0 minutes so that Scheduler, Amy and Andrew can more easily set meetings back to back.
